Mapping My Past
A Visual Journey into the Places that have shaped the person I am today
I am Zimbabwean born, grew up in South Africa and now live in Germany. I have also travelled quite extensively. All these countries and experiences have shaped my identity and who I am as a person. For this group of paintings I chose a few places that are special to me, broke down the colours of my strongest memories and then created artworks that are inspired by the colours of those places.
